ELM USA, headquartered in Buffalo Grove, a suburb of Chicago, was founded by the late Jeff Kao and the late Mike Ruffolo. Today, the company continues to be guided by its parent organizations in Japan.
Our President, Michael Rozner, provides strategic leadership and ensures that our customers receive the highest standard of service and support. Under his direction, and with the expertise of Gary Ingles and our dedicated sales team, ELM USA offers the knowledge and resources necessary to assist customers in selecting the appropriate supplies, parts, and disc repair equipment to meet their needs.

Nobu Murata is the Chief Financial Officer at ELM USA, overseeing the accounting department's operations with accuracy and efficiency. Eric Kerbs, our accounting manager, is essential in upholding precision within the department, ensuring that your purchasing experience is smooth and hassle-free. Reshma Vyas serves as our office manager, keeping everything organized and running smoothly for all of us.
ELM USA proudly features a well-rounded service and technical support department, headed by Badral Sukhbaatar. Our skilled technicians—Mathew, Don, Tim, and Chris—receive training directly from the engineers who designed the equipment you depend on. We emphasize prompt service and maintain rates that are both fair and competitive. Always remember, ELM USA is committed to keeping your machines running smoothly.
ELM USA is dedicated to maintaining a well-stocked warehouse that includes machines, supplies, and parts. Our shipping manager, Brandon, along with Eric, work hard to ensure that parts and supply orders are shipped within 48 hours, or even sooner, provided they are placed before the designated cut-off time.
ELM Japan is an engineering and manufacturing firm founded in 1980 by its current President, Takakazu "Tom" Miyahara. The company is headquartered in southern Japan. Since the year 2000, ELM has specialized in the production of high-quality disc repair machines. Their ECO Brand Disc Repair Systems have consistently been recognized as the leading Disc Repair System worldwide. ELM Japan primarily focuses on designing GREEN ENERGY and ECO-FRIENDLY products. Beyond ensuring that plastic discs don’t contribute to landfill waste through their repair machines, ELM also provides a variety of products and holds patents for innovations such as Sun Tracking Solar Power Generators and Systems, ECO LED Lighting, Agricultural and Farm Growing Equipment, Medical Lighting, Unmanned Flying Drones, and many other cutting-edge solutions.
