TELEPHONE AND EMAIL SUPPORT
ELM USA provides support at no cost. However, the company does not assume liability or offer warranties for any parts if the customer damages their equipment. Furthermore, ELM USA is not liable for any work performed by the customer when consulting with our technical support staff via telephone or email.
MACHINES AND PARTS SENT TO ELM USA FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR
ELM USA will make every effort to complete repairs within a reasonable timeframe, with most repairs finalized and shipped back within 15 business days following owner approval. However, it is important to note that ELM USA does not guarantee the duration required for service repairs. Additionally, all service parts and labor are warranted for a period of 90 days.
SERVICE COMPLETION, PAYMENT, AND ABANDONMENT POLICY
ELM USA will make every reasonable effort to contact customers once service on their machine is complete. Full payment is required before shipping unless alternative arrangements have been approved by ELM USA in writing.
Once notified of service completion, customers have four (4) calendar days to submit payment. If payment is not received within this period, a $40 re-priming fee will be added to the invoice to cover the cost of returning the machine to service readiness. This $40 fee will recur every four (4) days until payment is received or the machine is considered abandoned.
Any machine or parts left in ELM USA’s possession for more than 90 days without written communication from the customer will be deemed abandoned. ELM USA is not liable for any abandoned equipment. In accordance with applicable laws, ELM USA may dispose of or sell the product—publicly or privately—to cover any outstanding charges. ELM USA retains all statutory and legal liens for unpaid balances, including diagnostic and re-priming fees.
