Why is this disc repair machine sold as refurbished?

This ECO-Fusion unit was previously used in field testing or returned as a trade-in for credit. While it isn’t brand new, it has been fully rebuilt to meet our factory standards.

What does “factory refurbished” mean?

Each machine is thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and tested by our factory-trained technicians. Any worn or questionable components are replaced, and all required service work is completed either at our Illinois facility or by our parent company, ELM Japan. Minor cosmetic blemishes may be visible, but performance is fully guaranteed and backed by a one-year warranty.
